Matt Ufford had threatened to pursue the photographer over not removal of the picture. But the story was already widely circulated and had been receiving a lot of interest. Stokke's photos of her pole vaulting skills were published on a tribute site. When the photos were shared on social media platforms, online fan groups gained thousands of new followers.
