Simone Biles
Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast who was considered one of the sport's greatest athletes. The 2016 Olympics were held at Rio de Janeiro and Biles was one of the U.S.'s the first gymnast of female gender to earn 4 gold medals. Biles also took home the world title for all-around 3 times in succession (2013-15). Biles as well as her younger sister Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles as well as Nellie Biles their grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman when she was six years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles won a gold medal in vault, and also a medal in floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. The year 2011 saw her begin playing in elite levels of competition. A year later Biles had a dominating performance in the sport. Biles made headlines for her constant performance her enthusiastic attitude as well as the amount of difficulty that she included in each event--vault, uneven bars, balance beam and ground exercise.
