Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28 1998, in Los Angeles California) is an American actor, singer as well as voice actress. Ariel Winter began her career acting as an actress early performing in an Cool Whip advertisement when she was just six years old. Her first television appearance began at age seven, on one of the episodes from CBS's Up! Then she followed it up with performances on TV shows such as Monk Bones and ER. The year 2007 saw her debut in the part of Gretchen as part of her role on the Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. In 2007 she was given the role in her debut live-action role as Alex Dunphy, on the hit television series Modern Family. She along with all of Modern Family's Modern Family cast have won the Screen Actors Guild Award for the Best performance by a group in the field of Comedy Series four times. Ariel is still doing the voice of characters for movies such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel holds been awarded a purple belt in Taekwondo. She is the older sister of actor Shanelle Workman, and Jimmy Workman. She's a singer with her own band WickedSweet. Additionally, she works with environmental groups to help promote a more eco-friendly lifestyle. In 2012, her sister applied to be Ariel's guardian on account of physical and mental abuse from her parents. Shanelle took over Ariel as her sole guardian in the year 2014.
