Annie Murphy (n e Anne Frances Murphy) was born on December 19th in 1986. The Canadian native has been working in the film industry on many different projects. She played the role of Alexis Rose for the CBC comedy television series Schitt's Trail, which started in 2015 until 2020. Her performance received high praise from critics and was also awarded the Primetime Emmy Award. Her birthplace is in the Canadian province of Ontario. Both of her parents were instructors. She enrolled at Elmwood School in Ottawa where they staged productions. When she graduated of Concordia University with a theatre degree, she enrolled in the Canadian Film Centre's Actor's Conservatory. The Canadian Film Centre Actor's Conservatory is where she took her acting classes. Then she moved to Los Angeles in her early 20s and began to pursue acting. Annie Murphy made her acting debut in 2007 with the thriller television movie Lethal Obsession. Then, she continued to perform in smaller parts and also as an extra. A few of them are extremely popular, such as Story of Jen released in 2008 Lick in 2010, and A Windigo Tale released the in the same year.
