Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding rapidly pushed her into the top charts once she was noticed by the general public in 2010. The singer-songwriter was able to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has a unique soprano scream and a knack to write songs that are emotional with uplifting lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's on the cutting edge in the world of mainstream and artistic independent music. Polydor Records signed her to one of their record labels and she started preparing for the launch of her debut album.
